I have the same thing. I'm 17 now but from 5 to 14 years old I would go days without saying a word. I would have panic attack when I had to speak to someone. What you have to do is face you fears. You have to go up to people and talk to them. You'll still thing about what they think of you but it gets easier to do. I'm now a president of a basketball club and I have great leadership skills. You also have to get someone the will push you to do these things because you can't do them on your own.

Chinese Medicines and insane energy?

So I have been taking Chinese herbs for a few days and immediately on the next day I have this mive energy coming out. But it is too much really. That sounds horrible! I would say put a pad lock on the back fence or at least a latch that kids can't reach. I think it's more of a safety thing cause of the pool. What happens if one of these rude little kids hurt themselves on your property - guess who's parents are going to come calling about medical bills? I would also designate a play time where your kids can have their "friends" over to play and only let kids in during that time. You can explain that you're having family time if they ask why they can't play during times that you would like some peace and quiet. Their parents couldn't possible think you're "rocking the boat" cause you turned their kids away from your property to spend quality time with your family. If kids came into my property unannounced I would "ground" them - tell them they cannot play today cause they were rude by not knocking, removing shoes, coming in the back yard unannounced, etc. I don't care who's kid is in my house, if they don't behave at least as well as my child (after a few warnings) then they need to go home.

Is there anything else I can do to brighten the sound of my violin?

I have an older German made violin (one estimate was about 100 years old) that's been through a bit. It's really pretty, with mother-of pearl inlay on the fingerboard and fancy purffling (sp? inlay around the edges). It sounds nice to me, but my violin teacher told me that the A and D strings sound dull (little projection). I had the soundpost adjusted by a noted violin luthier in my area, who said that he thought the problem was that it had been refinished by the previous owner, and that the new varnish was too thick and had soaked into the wood. (I know now that refinishing a violin is bad, but I didn't know that when I bought it). I restrung it recently with Dominants (except E, which is Heliocore). The luthier recommended converting it to electric as it has a nice tone, but I am not ready to do that yet as I am still a beginner. Is there anything else I can do to brighten the sound? I am thinking about switching back to a steel core string like Heliocore, but I would like some feed back first.

I think the main problem was that you switched their foods. Dogs can't have their foods switched immediately, it has to be gradual. Also, Purina is not a good brand. I would suggest something natural if your dog is fragile, maybe Natural Balance, Innova, Artemis, etc. would be better and healthier. I would switch back to the old food and slowly switch the food. If the dog is having a hard time peeing, they may have a urinary tract infection, or her urine crystals are bothering her again. I would go see the vet. If she's not drinking, try maybe something else that has liquid, maybe ice? Anyways, I would at least call the vet and ask instead of paying a visit if you don't have enough money.

Bleeding from the cervix?

I had my yearly checkup with my gynecologist this morning, and when he was doing the pap smear he said that my cervix bled a little. He called it cervical something (I can't remember the last part because it was so hard to pronounce. It started with a s) And he said that it is normal in a lot of women. I have been on birth control since August of 2009 due to irregular periods, and since I have been on the pill my periods range have ranged from 4-15 days long. But they always start on time. He is starting me on a stronger birth control pill called Loestrin (I was on Yaz) and said to come back in June, and if my periods haven't gotten shorter in length he wants to either do a sonogram of my uterus or do a procedure where he will look up inside it. Does this seem normal about what he was talking about bleeding from my cervix? does anybody recognize the name that I mentioned before where he said it is normal in alot of women to have cervical bleeding?

You have to be a veteran. You do not have to be cremated. I'm not sure of what all would qualify a burial there, but my father in law is buried there and was not cremated.

Problems with changing valve covers?

I just changed the valve covers on my 1957 ford 312 v8. They are the same valve covers and gaskets, they just needed to be replaced due to rust, age, etc. I did use gasket sealant but I am not sure what kind it is. I found a tube of it in the garage and the front was covered with grease and unreadable. I could however read on the back the instructions that said to use it for gaskets, covers, etc. It smelled a little like a crayon, was black and a little thicker than grease if that helps any, and i put a good layer on each side of the gaskets. I was not sure how tight the nuts should be so I just tightened them until the rubber washers started to compress and squeeze out a little. I just want to make sure that there is nothing that needs to be done before i start the motor. And if I did do something wrong, what problems should I look for?

In my state no child support is required until the court says so. You don't have to wait for a divorce to become final in my state to get a ruling on support, so the court will say the CP missed their chance by not applying previously. BTW once one spouse walks out the door the other can immediately apply for child support and a separate maintenance agreement, at least in my state.

trust your instints girl, it is ever so slightly different each month for me, but i do notice some feeling of activity around the fertile days. just look out for extra l mucus rather like (egg white) This is the biggest sign as well as for the ov pain, there is about 3 days before this mucus and about 1-2 days after, where you can have and surely get preggers! It happened to me on my 2nd child, i wasnt on contraception and knew i was coming upto Ov, i had before this time in hope to avoid it from happening... God was i wrong, thats where i found out that i could conceive 4 days b4 Ov day!..and i conceived a Girl ! so now i know how to time it if i decide i want another girl. he hey. :-)

Don't worry! I've had worse. My ex gf walked in, looked at me (and I think she even smiled, which hurt me more) when I had a bit too much to drink and was crying on my friend's shoulder over the breakup, and walked out again. Umbilical cord-related issue?

I think that my baby's umbilical cord might have gotten rubbed off by her diaper accidentally. I know it's supposed to fall off on its own. How can I tell that everything's okay. It's a little reddish and scabbish. When I look inside her belly on it does seem a little greenish, slightly. Pits are very strong and most of all they won't take bull sh*t(why everyone says there aggressive). Everyone wants a breed that will let children pull on their ears and tails. Well I am sorry, but pits won't put up with that out of people or dogs. I have a dog who is half pit and she has never bit anyone. At the same time though I tell everyone don't think you can let your kid in my yard acting foolish. They score a 83 or 85 on the temp test, that beats a lot of popular breeds by far. If golden retrievers where aggressive and bred to fight they would get a bad rep also. Don't listen to all the hype, remember to nature your dog(my dog is a big spoiled baby) and they will be the sweetest thing ever. Most of all don't ever hit a dog, people who hit their dogs will get bit. I have seen it happen a LOT with people who hit their dogs.

Being happy at college?

Hi, I just started college a few days ago, Lehigh University, infamous party school. I'm not really into all of that partying and I'm the kind of person who likes my space. I'm not jealous of my roomate, who is already partying till dawn. Frat parties are just not my idea of fun. My girlfriend has been the closest thing to me for 4 years now, and we decided to stay together for college. I want to mabye visit her every few weeks, as I am only 40 minutes from my house. I know everyone says to stay on campus, but frankly I'm fine with only a few friends and not big on parties. I figure it's college, I am free to pursue my happiness, and my girlfriend makes me happier than anything or anyone. If I had to choose between a happy college life and her, I would choose her. However, I am curious to see what other people think of my mindset. I know lots of people leave campus on weekends, and I know it's often looked on poorly, but if seeing my girlfriend every few weeks makes me happier, then why should I deprive myself of that?

American Military Dogs...I saw a Doentary about American Military German Shepard Dogs being Abandoned by?

the American Authorities, ( Betrayed is the True Word ) They refused to allow the troops take their Dogs Home with them when they fled Vietnam.. It was heartbreaking watching those Troops unconsolable hugging and kissing their Dogs for the last time then Tying them up to posts and leaveing them to their own Fate...It was sickening to say the least because these dogs were soliders who saved so many troops lives in combat.. The poor dogs were in complete distress.. I have just watched a Video on U Tube showing dogs with the troops in Iraq and Afg... Is this going to happen again..Are they going to abandon them again..I hope some soldiers are reading this for they may have the answer.. If any one else knows that would be great..This should not be permitted to happen ever again..
