Why do people have such a problem against BMW drivers?

I drive a white BMW M3 09 and I drive it fast like its meant for and get people flashing me and people saying at BMW's are driven by prats. What people fail to realise is that my M3 stops from 120 faster than the highway code recons you can stop from 60. I do not drive dangerously - I have never had an accident in my life but do drive very quickly like most BMW drivers. Why do people have a problem with this - we have earned these cars and will dam well drive how we like.
