Is it possible to be part of society, have a phone, email & computer, yet live a Google- free existence ?

Big Brother, as envisioned by George Orwell, has been surped by Google. It is omnipresent. In cell-phones, gmail, the recording of every keyword ever searched for by everyone, forever. Mapping every square inch of this world, being able to track and trace where you've been, what you looked at, what you bought and when and where, actually a complete recording of everyone's life and actions. This goldmine of intelligence in the hands of a commercial vulture poses a serious threat to us all, but nobody seems to care. Can it be stopped, or is it too late already?
