Symantec Ghost?

I made an image, using symantec ghost, and I tried to clone it to my new computer with different motherboard, am using windows xp, but once clonning completed succesfully , the new computer keeps restarting , I understood that something can be made to make the new computer boot normally, I appreciate if someone can help me - tks.
