NAVY? Id like to know if the good outweighs the bad.?

now I've been doing research on joining the navy and I want to know all possible about it especially if you have been in the navy before . I meet with a recruiter tomorrow that im pretty sure is going to sugar coat every thing for me, but i want to know real FACTS . please help me .
