American Military Dogs...I saw a Doentary about American Military German Shepard Dogs being Abandoned by?

the American Authorities, ( Betrayed is the True Word ) They refused to allow the troops take their Dogs Home with them when they fled Vietnam.. It was heartbreaking watching those Troops unconsolable hugging and kissing their Dogs for the last time then Tying them up to posts and leaveing them to their own Fate...It was sickening to say the least because these dogs were soliders who saved so many troops lives in combat.. The poor dogs were in complete distress.. I have just watched a Video on U Tube showing dogs with the troops in Iraq and Afg... Is this going to happen again..Are they going to abandon them again..I hope some soldiers are reading this for they may have the answer.. If any one else knows that would be great..This should not be permitted to happen ever again..
