Where is the cheapest place to live around the Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse area in NY??

So im currently in Boston, Ma and im planning on graduating as a management major and accounting minor. My plan is to find a job in New York preferably within those areas. I'm a city girl so i dont wanna be too far from the city and jus wondering where it is the cheapest posible to live. Thanks
